Photo: Landmannalaugar, highland area in Iceland. In other news Bárðarbunga volcano, part of Vatnajökull glacier is RUMBLING! High chances there’s going to be an eruption soon and there have been +1,000 earthquakes (M2-M3) in that area over the last 2 days. I will update more tomorrow. More info at en.vedur.is #TripInIceland

The #ReykjavikPride has evolved into one of the most vibrant and colorful festivals of the year! Celebrated since 1999, the festival attracts more than 100.000 people! The streets of downtown #Reykjavik flood with locals and foreigners alike to witness the parade and enjoy live music. It’s an all day affair for family and friends to embrace the Pride community and I’m proud to be a part of a country that celebrates it all so openly! #TripInIceland

It’s starting to get dark pretty fast in Iceland… Which is sad because summer is coming to an end but exciting since the Northern Lights season will start around mid September. If your not visiting this winter, you might want to participate with an easy sign up game at icelandairhotels.com/en/facebook (The winner gets a trip for two, all expense paid) Cheers, Inga #TripInIceland

What’s your favorite Reykjavik memory? Any local spots you loved (Cafe, Restaurant, Museum… etc)

My favorite cafe @tiudropar, restaurant @vegamot_rvk where I go often w/ friends and Reykjavik Museum of Photography is a true gem, plus free admission. #TripInIceland

Jökulsárlón, glacier lagoon this past weekend (photo taken by my father, while he drove from Höfn-Reykjavik). I’m still debating where I will be camping this labour day weekend… The forecast is not looking good! Where would you go? (South, West, East or North) #TripInIceland

Skaftafelljökull glacier, lurking around South Iceland. In other news… Labour Day weekend is coming up and it’s the biggest camping weekend for Icelanders. There are festivals throughout the country, biggest one held in the Westman island and around 15-20K attend it. I’m planning a camping trip so stay tuned for more details. Cheers, Inga #TripInIceland
